Rosie G. Leonard:    As a native of Hawaii and having lived in Alaska, the Southwest and the Midwest, Rosie has studied under nationally known artists in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. She has been honored by winning local and national awards from the Oklahoma Watercolor Association and the Oklahoma Art Guild.

She has exhibited extensively in Oklahoma including the Contemporary Art Gallery, 50 Penn Place Art Gallery, Purple Loft and the Colonies Gallery. She has also exhibited at the Kirkpatrick Museum, Norick Art Center and Stage Center in Oklahoma City. In Nebraska she exhibited at the Antiquarian Gallery, Stuhr Museum, The Burkholder Project and Prairie Winds Art Center.

Rosie views her art as an expression of life’s journey and derives inspiration from artistic journaling, the human spirit and forms found in nature. She enjoys the process of making ordinary paper, fibers and found items transcend their boundaries to convey the spirit of the heart and soul.

Her work hangs in private and corporate collections in the U.S. and Japan.
